1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or placing an order and checking the box agreeing to these Terms, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.

2. Eligibility and Ammunition Purchase Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and at least 21 years old to purchase handgun ammunition. Where applicable, you must hold a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) or other required state and/or federal permits to use our services. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.

By placing an order, you certify that you meet the age requirement for your jurisdiction and that you are not prohibited from possessing ammunition under federal law (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)), state, or local law.

3. Secure Transmission

All information collected during the checkout process is transmitted via industry standard Transport Layer Security (TLS). A Transport Layer Security (TLS) Certificate (or SSL Certificate) creates an encrypted connection between our website and your web browser. This link is designed to protect the data passed between the website and the browser.

4. Order Fulfillment and Shipping

All orders are shipped promptly from a distributor warehouse or in-store inventory within 3-10 business days using UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Tracking numbers are available for items shipped via UPS and FedEx.

All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. We do not ship to PO boxes or APO addresses.

If your shipment arrives damaged, report it to us within 3 days of delivery.

5. Online Price & Description Errors and Order Acceptance

Online inventory changes every day. Occasionally an item may appear on the site by mistake or the item's description may contain a typographical error. We do not guarantee that titles, descriptions, pictures or prices on our site are error-free. An order confirmation email does not mean we have accepted your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including but not limited to orders for items with errors in the description or price, and for compliance, fraud, or verification reasons. In the event that we cancel an order we will not charge the customer's credit card or we will refund the money.

6. State-Specific Ammunition Delivery Regulations

This list is informational only and may change. Buyers are responsible for complying with the laws of their own jurisdiction.

New Jersey

Handgun ammunition can only be sold to someone with an FFL, Firearms Purchaser Identification card or a permit to carry a handgun.

NO ARMOR PIERCING ROUNDS CAN BE SHIPPED.

New York

MUST SHIP TO FFL.

Illinois

Must have FOID (Firearms Owners Identification Card) or concealed carry.

Both must also present state issued ID.

California

MUST SHIP TO FFL.

Massachusetts

Rifle Ammo – Firearm Identification Card (FID) required to buy ammo online.

Handgun Ammo – FID card + Handgun Permit.

Can ship all to FFL.

Connecticut

The ammo purchase must be made by someone at least 21 years old.

The buyer must provide at least one of the following, which is valid and non-expired: permit to carry a pistol or revolver issued under CT law; permit to sell at retail a pistol or revolver issued under CT law; eligibility certificate for a pistol or revolver issued under CT law; long gun eligibility certificate issued under CT law; or ammunition certificate issued under CT law.

The buyer must provide a valid, non-expired driver's license, passport, or other government-issued photo ID. Please note, military IDs are not permissible because it is illegal to copy them.

Hawaii

We do not ship to Hawaii.

Alaska

We do not ship to Alaska.

District of Columbia

We do not ship to DC.

Chicago and Cook County, Illinois

We do not ship to Chicago, Illinois.

7. User Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate account information.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local firearms and ammunition laws.
• Verify you meet age and legal requirements for ammunition purchases in your jurisdiction.
• Use appropriate ammunition for your specific firearms.
• Protect account credentials and notify us of unauthorized access.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our platform for illegal activities, fraudulent transactions, or any purpose that violates federal, state, or local firearms and ammunition regulations. This includes but is not limited to:

• Purchasing ammunition if you are legally prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition.
• Providing false information during the purchase process.
• Attempting to ship ammunition to prohibited locations.
• Reselling ammunition in violation of applicable laws.

9. Returns and Refunds

For safety reasons, returns are subject to strict policies. All sales are final unless the product is defective or we shipped the incorrect item. Refunds for qualifying returns will be processed within 5-10 business days of receipt and inspection.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms, applicable laws, or engage in fraudulent activity.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Clearance Calibers against any claims, losses, or damages arising from false eligibility information you provide, your illegal possession or resale of ammunition, or your misuse of any product.

12. Limitation of Liability

CLEARANCE CALIBERS IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

We are not liable for damages resulting from improper use of ammunition or for any consequential damages. Users assume all responsibility for safe handling, storage, and use of ammunition products.

13. Dispute Resolution

Governing law and venue.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Virginia.

Arbitration.

Disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration.

Class-action waiver.

Claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as part of any class or representative action.

Jury waiver.

You and Clearance Calibers waive the right to a jury trial.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

16. General

Severability.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.

Entire agreement.

These Terms, including the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Clearance Calibers.

Force majeure.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
