.22 LR

Federal AutoMatch .22 LR 40gr lead round nose brass-cased ammunition is built for shooters who run semi-automatic rimfire firearms and want a dependable, affordable load for high-volume practice. It belongs to Federal’s Champion rimfire line, which is aimed at accurate, consistent performance for plinking, targets, competition, and training. Made in the USA with Federal brass, bullet, and priming, AutoMatch is specifically designed for use in semi-auto firearms, where it is known to feed and cycle reliably, including in guns that can be particular about their ammunition.

This offering in the .22 Long Rifle caliber features a 40-grain lubricated lead round nose bullet with a ballistic coefficient of 0.138, leaving the muzzle at 1,200 fps. That velocity is well suited to the action of 10/22-style rifles, semi-automatic pistols, and conversion kits. The cartridges are loose-packed in a 325-round value pack, which keeps cost per round down for long sessions.
